StreetZine was originally a HTML e-mail newsletter aimed at the street food market and we were approached to improve the system. We decided to create a mobile friendly website as the central base, and run the main stories on this, then link the e-zine back to the site. It was an important factor to make the site responsive as many of the readers would be out and about on food stalls when they received the mail and it had to be easy to read just on a smart phone. The site design had to be in a news format and have the facility to add banners and advertisements in various sections. The brick wall background was added to give the feel of a street poster and to fit in with the street food / pop-up restaurant culture.
The site is fully managed by the client after a morning of training with the team at Graffika.
